Pixmania.ie rides to the rescue
Normally cameras sold in shops in Ireland are ridiculously overpriced, usually to the tune of €100 to €150, but sometimes far more, but Pixmania.ie are providing a superb service and spanking new cameras can be bought for a reasonable price, as reasonable as you would expect from the UK or the USA. But they are also getting extremely good at beating many major camera-distributors to the punch, getting the newest models out for sale before they're even a whisper in the wind on blogs. I was extremely surprised to find they had Fuji's newest superzoom for sale before I'd even heard of it, and before it had appeared on the Mather's of Lancashire website. Mather's of Lancashire are the yardstick for good deals, and Pixmania are offering them some serious competition.
